Bacon Eggnog recipe: 

- 2 parts of your favorite eggnog mix
- 1 part whole milk (just to thin it out a bit)
- 1-2 parts Bakon Vodka (to taste)
- pinch of nutmeg
Chill or serve over ice

Bacon Bloody Mary

Garnished with lime wedge, green olive,cube of cheddar, and a slice of fried bacon with a salt and pepper rim.

Hmm, apparently a lot of people are just now becoming aware of BAKON Bacon-Flavored Vodka.

It’s been available in my area for almost a year; we especially recommend making Bacon Bloody Marys with it; make sure you add a strip of bacon as garnish.

by Bakon Vodka:

Shrimp-skewers:

• 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
• 2 large cucumbers
• 3 large avocados

Dipping sauce:

• ¼ c Bakon Vodka
• ½ c ketchup
• ¼ c fresh lemon juice
• 1 c thinly sliced scallions (about 6)
• 2 Tbsp horseradish (or to taste)
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper (or 1 tsp Tabasco)

Preparation

1. Poach shrimp in lightly salted water until cooked (about 3-5 minutes). Drain and chill.
2. Dice cucumbers and avocados into small chunks (about ½ the size of the shrimp). Skewer shrimp, avocado, and cucumber pieces onto individual toothpicks.
3. To make dipping sauce, mix all remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Serve skewers at room temperature on a garnished plate. Place sauce in bowl over ice. Makes about 50 appetizers.

I can’t believe this recipe doesn’t contain any actual bacon.  We recommend you add some bacon to your skewers.

Bacon Vodka:

It’s Elvis Presley’s birthday… time to enjoy a drink Elvis would have loved:
The Elvis Presley
• 1 part Bakon Vodka
• ½ part hazelnut liqueur
• ½ part banana liqueur
• splash of cream

Shake with ice and served like a Martini -or- strained into a shot glass.

This is three pieces of crispy fried bacon in vodka

The recipie says to leave it for three weeks, then freeze to congeal the fat before running through a coffee filter.

The bacon went in on Saturday.

Excellent work!  Let us know how it turned out.

No holiday party is complete without the Bacon Bloody Marys!

Here’s the recipe we used:

• Shot-and-a-half of Bakon bacon vodka
• Dash of Tobasco
• Few dashes of Worchestershire sauce
• Dash of pepper
• Dash of garlic salt
• Few dashes of J&D’s Bacon Salt
• Fill to rim with tomato juice
• Garnish with celery and slice of bacon

makes up one pint

1. Fry up three strips of bacon.
2. Add cooked bacon to a clean pint sized mason jar. Trim the ends of the bacon if they are too tall to fit in the jar. Or you could go hog wild and just pile in a bunch of fried up bacon scraps. Optional: add crushed black peppercorns.
3. Fill the jar up with vodka. Cap and place in a dark cupboard for at least three weeks. That’s right- I didn’t refrigerate it.
4. At the end of the three week resting period, place the bacon vodka in the freezer to solidify the fats. Strain out the fats through a coffee filter to yield a clear filtered pale yellow bacon vodka.
5. Decant into decorative bottles and enjoy.
