“The Volcano”, aka Potato, Onion, Bacon and Gruyere Bake

Since that visit, I’ve managed to try some of the awe-inspiring savory baked goods, such as the volcano. This mountain of tender dough, creamy potatoes, caramelized onion, and bacon exploding with gruyere resembles a deliciously un-Kosher knish. It’s hard to go wrong with this combination of ingredients, but the volcano still made me savor every bite.
